Vehicle User Agreement

Service providers Contract & Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms, conditions, responsibilities, and policies governing the relationship between CarComfort (“CarComfort,” “we,” or “the Company”) and all registered Service Providers (“Service Provider,” “Provider,” or “you”). Contractors acknowledge and agree they are an independent contractor, not employees, agents, or representative of CarComfort. Contractors are solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licensing, and compliance with applicable laws. Vehicles are provided to CarComfort service providers solely for the purpose of performing valet EV charging and car wash services.

Services include:

  • Pickup and return of the User’s vehicle
  • Transporting the vehicle to and from designated charging stations
  • Performing EV charging using approved equipment
  • Performing exterior and/or interior car wash and detailing services
  • Parking and temporary storage of the vehicle during service operations

No other use of the vehicle is permitted.

Vehicle Handling & Movement

Service providers may operate the vehicle only for:

  • Pickup and drop‑off
  • Transport to charging or wash locations
  • Moving the vehicle within service facilities

No personal, commercial, or unauthorized use is allowed.

EV Charging Requirements

Service providers agree to:

  • Use only approved charging stations
  • Avoid charging above manufacturer‑recommended limits unless authorized by vehicle owner
  • Monitor charging to prevent overheating or battery stress
  • Document charging start/end times and charge levels

The User acknowledges that charging times may vary based on station availability and vehicle specifications.

Car Wash & Detailing Standards

Service providers will:

  • Use non‑abrasive, EV‑safe cleaning products
  • Avoid high‑pressure water on sensitive EV components
  • Protect charging ports, sensors, and cameras during washing
  • Notify the User of any pre‑existing damage before service begins

Liability and Damages

Service providers are responsible for:

  • Damage caused during pickup, transport, charging, or washing
  • Scratches, dents, interior damage, or misuse
  • Battery or charging‑port damage caused by improper charging

The customer is responsible for:

  • Pre‑existing mechanical or cosmetic issues
  • Hidden defects that cause operational failure during service

Vehicle Access & Security

Service providers will:

  • Keep keys secure at all times
  • Use GPS‑tracked valet routes
  • Never store vehicles overnight unless authorized
  • Maintain logs of all vehicle movements

Service Completion & Return

Upon completion, Service providers will:

  • Return the vehicle to the agreed location
  • Ensure the vehicle is locked and secured
  • Provide a digital service summary including charge level, wash details, and any noted issues

Assumption of Risk

Contractor understands that providing vehicle‑related services including driving, transporting, cleaning, fueling, or inspecting vehicles—carries inherent risks, including accidents, injuries, property damage, or mechanical failure. Contractors voluntarily assume all such risks.

Release of Liability

Contractor releases and holds harmless CarComfort, from any claims, losses, damages, injuries, or expenses arising from Contractor’s performance of services, except to the extent caused by CarComfort’s proven negligence.

4. Responsibility for Equipment and Conduct

Contractors are solely responsible for:

  • Their own tools, equipment, and personal property
  • Safe operation of any vehicle entrusted to them
  • Compliance with traffic laws and safety standards
  • Any citations, violations, or damages resulting from their actions
  • Service providers are responsible of any vehicle entrusted to them during the time of services

5. Insurance Requirements

Contractors affirms they carry valid auto insurance, liability insurance, and any other coverage required by law or by CarComfort. Contractor agrees to provide proof of insurance upon request.

6. Indemnification

Contractors agrees to indemnify and defend CarComfort against claims arising from Contractor’s actions, omissions, or breach of this Agreement.

7. No Workers’ Compensation Coverage

Contractors acknowledge they are not covered by CarComfort’s workers’ compensation insurance and are responsible for their own injury protection.

8. Vehicle Condition & Documentation

Contractors agree to document vehicle conditions before and after service and acknowledge responsibility for any unreported damage occurring while the vehicle is in their custody.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which services are performed.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding confidentiality and supersedes all prior discussions.

Signatures

Service providers acknowledge that they have read and understood this agreement and may confirm acceptance either by e-signing or by checking the “I agree” box.

Disclosure and Assignment. The Contractor shall promptly disclose all Company Inventions and execute necessary documents to secure Company ownership, including after termination.
